Microscope v1.0.7 has been released and is available in the App Store, it runs on iOS 11. Thanks for your patience.
I submitted a version to the App Store this evening, so hopefully things will be back to normal by mid-week.
Hi. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I have been meaning to do a complete revamp of the app, and did not address the current version. I’ll try to look into it this week, and post an update. Thanks.
When it happens, yes, it would support remote play and Explorer.
I appreciate the interest in an Android version. The most likely outcome is a mobile responsive web version would would be accessible to all devices. Thanks.
Thanks for letting me know. If you have the time, please send a screenshot so that I can get a better feel of the issue.
I’m sorry, no update. My friend who was going to help ended up getting full time work and no longer had the time. I really appreciate the interest and very much want to do an overhaul of what’s out there to make it better and more accessible. Just need to find some folks with the right skill set and free time.
I agree, it’s been more of a time issue. Designs are being fleshed out, implementation to follow. Thanks for the encouragement.
I’ll need to consider your comments further, but here’s a thought in the meantime. The intent of the Focus and Legacy screens was to be a collection of what has happened so that you can see it all in one place (and add the new one). You can “revisit” elements of a Focus or Legacy by creating adding history around those elements, in the Make History screen, beyond the round in which they were introduced (providing it’s relevant to current game play). So in this sense, it’s more of a concept of inspiration for creating history rather than a specific game mechanic. What do you think?
I have admittedly been caught up in other projects. Really, I’d like to do a cloud-based solution that solves many of these requests (with an option for off-line play of course), but it’s a bigger undertaking for the amount of free time that I have. I’ll post an update in March. Promise.
That is a great suggestion and has been on the To Do list for a while. The challenge is in importing to another’s device and making the appropriate player linkages. Stay tuned, I’ll have an update later in January.
This is fixed in the forthcoming v1.0.5.
This was implemented in v1.0.4.
I’m hoping to do a web app this summer. I know, I’ve been saying that for a while, but the plan is a little more firm this time.
I appreciate the kind words, and an updated version will be out shortly!
